This Safeguarding Training online focuses on Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults. We take for granted that children and vulnerable adults will never come to harm or have to experience abuse of any kind, so the training aims to help the learners easily define safeguarding.
Safeguarding may be a term that people loosely understand and therefore don't often see the distinguishable differences of abuse and the many forms it may present itself. Children, young and vulnerable adults are disadvantaged as they often need the help of others, and poorly trained adults will often miss the milestones relative to the act of abuse - recognising these indicators is key and is included in the course.
The training will allow the learner to demonstrate the knowledge obtained and promote the welfare of children and vulnerable adults within their working environment. Improving work policies will help those with concerns feel confident that they are taking the right steps in raising their concerns and when to bring help onboard.
The online training course will greatly benefit those in constant interaction with children, and vulnerable adults, as this is the focus of the training. Examples of job roles that will see a benefit can be roles such as;
